Rising inflation and significant increases in energy prices and living costs were the central focus of Budget 2023.
The document sets out a short summary of the main changes in taxation, social welfare, health, housing, education, employment and other areas.
It is an overview and not a complete statement of the measures announced in Budget 2023. The Finance Bill which will contain more detailed information on the Budget announcements and other proposed tax changes is scheduled to be published on October 20.
